Listings & Regional Search

Finding inventory near you, by category, or from a specific source. · 9 questions

Yes, the search tool lets you filter listings by location radius or by specific storage facility, so you can pull up everything within driving distance of your area. If southeast Missouri doesn't show much inventory at a given moment, widening the radius slightly or checking back regularly tends to surface more options, since inventory turns over constantly.

Use the location filter on the search page and select or enter states in that region (typically Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Nevada) to narrow results to that area. You can also filter by specific storage facility if you know which yards service that region.

The location-based search filter lets you set Texas as your state or enter a specific city/zip code and radius, returning all current listings from facilities in that area. Given the size of Texas, narrowing by city or region first will usually give more relevant, closer results than a statewide search alone.

Combine the vehicle-type filter (RV/Motorhome) with the "Buy Now" listing-type filter and a California location filter to narrow results to exactly that combination. If results are limited at any given time, RV inventory tends to fluctuate more than standard car listings, so checking back periodically will surface new units as they're added.

If you have the original IAAI stock number or VIN, searching directly by VIN on the platform's search bar is the most reliable way to locate the corresponding listing, since stock numbers themselves typically aren't cross-referenced between platforms. The VIN stays consistent regardless of which auction or platform is listing the vehicle.

Pickup hours are set by the individual storage facility holding the vehicle, not by the auction platform itself, so they vary by location. Once you've completed payment, your account or confirmation email will typically include the facility's address and contact info — calling ahead to confirm hours and any required documentation for release is the safest move before driving out.

Most platforms maintain a closed/sold listings archive searchable by make, model, year, and sometimes condition, which is the best tool for benchmarking your bid against real recent sale prices rather than guesswork. If your platform doesn't offer this, third-party auction-data sites can fill the gap with broader historical pricing.

Yes — in addition to any sold-listings archive on the auction platform itself, several independent auction-data aggregator sites compile historical closing prices across multiple auction sources, which can be useful for cross-checking a single platform's pricing against the broader market.
